Dr. Janice Nguyen
Dr. Janice Nguyen graduated University of St. Thomas with a bachelor degree in Chemistry. During her undergraduate studies, she also double minored in Biology and Theology. She then went on and completed her Doctorate in Dental Medicine with a focus in public health dentistry from Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health.
Public health dentistry plays a significant part of Janice’s career. She practiced in numerous community health centers all around the United States, and is a big advocate of breaking down visible and invisible barriers in healthcare. On top of clinical dentistry, Janice has also participated in research concerning oral health in patients with movement disorders. She has organized and participated in various dental service events in her community to help increase awareness of the importance of dental health. In addition, Janice works directly with dental students as an adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. She also volunteers at Healthcare for the Homeless Houston Dental Clinic to further contribute to her community.
Janice values continuing education and organized dentistry, as she is a member of Spear Education, Texas Dental Association, and American Dental association.
