Dr. Ayesha Tabassum is a passionate and dedicated general dentist who was born in Hyderabad, India, and proudly raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive dentistry and patient-centered care.
Throughout Dental School, Ayesha had the opportunity to serve a diverse patient population, which strengthened her appreciation for the importance of individualized dental care. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, informed, and comfortable throughout their treatment. She believes that exceptional dentistry extends beyond clinical treatment and is built on trust, open communication, and genuine relationships. Ayesha strives to understand each patient’s concerns and goals so she can provide thoughtful care while helping them achieve and maintain a healthy, confident smile.
After completing Dental School, Dr. Ayesha recently relocated to Houston, Texas, to begin the next chapter of her career. She is excited to continue developing as a clinician and expand her capabilities through continuing education courses, hands-on experiences, and mentorship. She approaches her career with curiosity and enthusiasm, always looking for opportunities to learn, refine her techniques, and stay current with advancements in dentistry. She is committed to growing every day so that she can continue to provide her patients with the highest standard of care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ayesha enjoys spending quality time with her family and loved ones, traveling and exploring new places, and maintaining an active lifestyle through fitness and pickleball. She also enjoys discovering new restaurants, learning about different cultures, and trying new activities. She values creating meaningful memories with the people closest to her and making the most of life’s adventures.
As she begins this exciting new chapter in Houston, Dr. Ayesha looks forward to building lifelong relationships with her patients, continuing to grow both personally and professionally, and making a positive impact in her new community—one patient, one connection, and one smile at a time.
